Autumn Term 2015 RP News
On Friday 13th November the children in reception dressed up as their favourite character/teacher to raise money for BBC Children in Need. The children decorated Pudsey pictures beautifully and Robin Greenwood in RP won a prize for his fantastic effort. The children were invited to watch an assembly and learnt lots more about why we raise money and the children we help. They started to think about why they were lucky and what they are grateful for.
Anassa: “I dressed up as a ballerina”.
As part of our London Calling topic we walked to a local bus stop. We went to see where the bus stop was and we thought about where the people on the bus might be travelling to in London.
Jayden Musa: “We saw some people get off the bus and the bus had a number on it”.
Lily Hearn: “We held hands with our partner and walked to the bus stop near our school”.
We also brought photographs into school of us with our friends and family in London. We spoke to our friends about where we have been in London and where we would like to go in London.
