Our Vision: We passionately believe in developing a life-long love of learning within an inspirational and inclusive environment. Highfield is a warm and friendly place of co-operation, equality and respect.
“Highfield Primary School provides a good education where a vision to strive for excellence is shared by all staff”
Wow!!!! 32 children have been at school 100% of the time, every day from September until July.
In order to reward this amazing achievement we arranged for the children to take part in a “Highfield does Wimbledon” afternoon. They were all very excited, they had tennis lessons from local tennis coaches and to follow they had strawberries, ice cream and drinks of juice containing fresh fruit!!!! These children from Recception-Year 6 had a wonderful afternoon.
All these children also will receive a certificate and a medal.
Attendance Improvers –
20 children have made brilliant improvements in their attendance level, for example 89% or less last year, to 95% this year. They will also get a certificate and a medal.
Winning class of the year
3MB were our winning class this year; they have nearly 98% which is fantastic.
Their punctuality is also excellent; we would like to say thank you to their parents/carers for this, what wonderful life skills these children are learning. 3MB also took part in a Highfield does Wimbledon afternoon.
Afternoon Tea with Mrs Kemal
3MB also won our attendance campaign 100% for the two weeks and they had a very posh afternoon tea with Mrs Kemal.
Highfield’s Got Talent
We have recently had a Highfield’s Got Talent competition at the school. There were many entries and the pupils really showed just how talented they are. However, we were all blown away by Zoe and Anastasia’s marvellous rendition of Titanium by David Guetta. I am sure you will agree their performance was something special and Zoe’s voice is really amazing!!!!!
Check out our new phonics videos in the Curriculum area. They will help early readers to develop their understanding of letters and sounds.
Absence from School
If your child will not be in school, please call or email us to let us know why they are absent. You can email us on firstname.lastname@example.org If we are not informed why your child is absent, this will be recorded as an unauthorised absence. Thank you for your support
